Winter is Coming

Despite the current summer-like weather, winter is around the corner; and the first snow will soon be here. Experience tells us that there will be more accidents and road closures because of winter conditions. Tragically, many commercial vehicle drivers are not trained for the conditions that they will face on highways 11 and 17. I asked the Minister of Transportation if the government has made any progress in assuring that drivers trained and licensed in Ontario know how to drive in northern conditions. His

answer was not reassuring.
