𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗘𝗡’𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞 - Ontario’s Leader of the Official Opposition, Peter Tabuns, issued the following statement:

“On behalf of Ontario’s Official Opposition, we send our deepest condolences to the family of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and to all who mourn her throughout the Commonwealth and beyond.

From her military service to her reign as monarch, for more than 70 years Queen Elizabeth II unwaveringly dedicated her life to public service.

In addition to her role as the Sovereign of the Commonwealth, on this sad day we pause to remember that Her Majesty was also a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She leaves behind a family that feels her loss deeply. We hope the Royal Family finds comfort and solace in one another during this sorrowful time.

May Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace. And may King Charles III assume the throne in good health, and be guided by goodness and humanity."
